Apple Iphone 3G

For the millions of users of the previous generations of the Apple iPhone, the birth of the 3G is a welcome treat, well for those who are using 3G capabilities that is. For those who do not really use this feature, it is better to stick with the previous one as the features are more or less the same. Besides, I heard that the 3G connections are also shaky.

Among the additional features that were added to the 3G like the expanded email and the faster connections, I really can’t find anything that I like. Well, the call quality is improved but aside from that all the other things that I complained about are still there. I still don’t have a way to cut and paste from the text messaging. I still can’t send MMS. The battery life is still as erratic as ever. I still find it hard to transfer files even if I am already using a Mac. I still can’t record videos or voices. I also find the keyboard to be really hard to use. I wish there is a slide out keypad that I can use.

Apple tried to fix this with 3rd party software that can perform the functions. Although I am all for this, I sometimes feel that Apple themselves should offer these features to their clients. Still, I still love the Iphone over any other phones perhaps because of the numerous software that it has. I just don’t run out of the things that I will do with the phone. My two cents: if you are not a fan of 3G, just skip this generation and wait for the next one but if you still don’t have an iphone, go buy one now!
