The Philips Streamium system (WACS7000) has a main station and a sub station that connect wirelessly without the need for a computer wireless home network. The sound quality is very good and with good Wi-Fi range, there is a USB slot which allows you to plug in your iPod or thumb drive in an optional ipod cradle to copy tracks to and from the base station’s hard disk.
