Choosing Plasma Television or LCD Television
Choose Plasma or LCD Televisions
Plasma televisions are the in thing right now. And I really can’t blame my friend who recently bought one from espousing all of its virtues. Compared to the ordinary CRT type that I have right now in my living room, the plasma Televisions is a knock out, not only in the looks but also in the picture quality. Actually it did not take me long to become convinced to buy a new TV. Anyhow, I have had it for decades now and for sure I have already used up the television’s life span.
But now, here’s my dilemma. Now what I have decided to purchase a new television set, I am now bombarded with different kinds of television sets: the choice is either a plasma television or an LCD television. LCD is the more expensive model but you are paid back with a longer life span. You can use the TV for as much as 60,000 hours of viewing. This is compared to the 30,000 hours of views that Plasma television sets can offer. Besides, the LCD is very expensive because of the materials that are used to make them.
LCD televisions are also more efficient when it comes to electricity. This is because the LCD's use florescent light bulbs inside. This is a known fuel economizer. If however you are on the lookout for bigger models for your theatre room, you will have better luck with the plasma, which have really big models. This type of screen will be able to provide you with that feeling of a cinema without having to pay too much.
Well… hence my dilemma.
