The Sony KDL32U4000 is a 32-inch LCD flat screen tv, first released by Sony on the market on August 2008. It became popular for being an affordable LCD TV that is easy to install and very user-friendly. It is compatible with digital television and gives high quality images. Sony televisions have always been praised as being stylish, although not really over the top.
The KDL32U4000 is provided with a "Standard Definition Digital Terrestrial Tuner" so that it can receive digital TV and radio signals through air. Even without a media box it can be set-up around 30 digital channels, besides receiving the traditional analogue signal, which is still possible as well. The Terrestrial Tuner makes it possible to receive digital signals without the use of a set top box. Extra advantage: this makes the use of two remote controls instead of one unnecessarily.
This Sony LCD TV model is well equipped for high definition experience demanded by users nowadays. It has three HDMI connectors and two Scart Leads, so that five devices can be attached to it simultaneously. Such devices are the Blue Ray Disk™, Play Station and PC.
The quality of images delivered by Sony KDL32U4000 is sharp with 3.1 megapixels, and its 178 degrees viewing angle makes it possible to follow any show, sporting match or game from almost any corner in the room. The screen is equipped with features that enable it to be attached to a wall.
It is provided with Virtual Dolby Surround Sound technologies by using just two loudspeakers, which can be placed in front of the television. The Sony 32U4000 uses 0.6W when in standby mode, and 123W when in operational mode.
