The Sony KDL32U3000U is the third generation of Sony's U-series in its range of Bravia LCD television models. It was first released in the market on August 2007. It is equipped with the Bravia engine and Theatre Sync.

This model has the ability to receive Freeview through its terrestrial tuner. The KDL32U3000U is relatively affordable, since Sony has launched newer models since then. It is also very easy to use.

The user-friendly feature of the Sony KLD32U3000U results from several different features, including the possibility to connect it to HD sources easily through two HDMI inputs. The Bravia Theatre Sync allows the user to operate its home entertainment system by just one remote control.

The KLD32U3000U also has logical and practically developed control menu. It is Audio Description compatible so that blind or partially sighted people can still follow television programs being played on it.

The built-in Freeview box on this LCD TV allows the user to watch Freeview digital television programs with high quality images. It can receive analogue signals as well. For flat-screen standards its sound is relatively good as it uses BBE ViVa technologies. Virtual Dolby sound is built in that makes maximum use of the two speakers in front of the screen. For users who prefer state of the art sound it can be connected to additional sound systems.

Like all current Sony televisions the quality of the images is good owing to the built in Bravia engine, which increases contrast of colours. This Sony LCD tv has a viewing angle of 178 degrees and can be attached to walls without having to use bulky TV stands.
