If you have a broken TV at home and are raring to buy a new one, go for a HD LCD TV. This is way better than the good old CRT models that most households use.

Mind you, it can be really expensive but it’s a guaranteed great buy. It’s not bulky and does not take that much space. This is actually one advantage especially with condo-living all the rage right now. People want to maximize their space as much as they can. You can actually even hang it on the wall like a painting. Just imagine being able to utilize that blank wall in your living room.

Despite its lightness, it does not give a bad reception. In fact, the HD LCD TV is clearer and has a better resolution than other TVs. Its picture quality is a vast improvement from earlier TV models. The colours are also brighter and more vivid. There is also less of what people call “distortion” in the picture, perhaps because it is not in a tube any more.

Even if you don’t have the budget, don’t settle for the CRT models. Just wait awhile and save up for a HD LCD TV. You won’t regret it, I tell you. With recession kicking in, you can take advantage of numerous sales. You might be able to find one that will meet your budget.

Check out the old models of HD LCD TV that are in the market right now. They will probably put them on sale to make way for the newer models. Remember, you don’t have to buy the newer models. The older ones can work. After all, it is using the same kind of technology.
